Invited by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, a 3-member delegation of LECM, led by Dr. Ao Peng Kong of the President of the Board of Directors and companied with Eng˚ Shen Qiang of the Head of Centre of Foundations and Prospecting and Eng˚ Tiago Bonucci Pereira of the Head of Centre of Topography of LECM visited Shanghai Jiao Tong University on 2009-Nov.-19. During the period of visit in Shanghai, the 3-member delegation was warmly received by Professor Zhang Weigang and Professor Wang Jianhua of the University, and made the friendly negotiations. The purpose and contents of this visit were summarized as follows:

● Visited to School of Naval Architecture Ocean & Civil Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and a introduction regarding recent research activities of Civil Engineering Department of Shanghai Jiao Tong University was made to the delegation of LECM;

● Negotiate a possible technical cooperation between Civil Engineering Department of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and LECM in the field of civil engineering , and also seek for the assistance from the University in their technology and information.
