CFD - Center of Training and Documentation

1 - The CFD (Center of Training and Documentation) has three  main scopes: 

(a) to give logistic support for organize seminars and  conferences, many of them in cooperation with other  organizations; preserve the respective documents and  software (training support); 

(b) to preserve (to archive) technical documents, results of  tests, reports, and important advises of LECM (technical  archive); 

(c) to buy, catalog and preserve technical magazines and  books (library).

3 - CFD is also responsible for the management and maintenance  of technical library, of which include organizing the library,  offer book borrowing service (reference books, literatures,  proceedings, magazines); registering, sorting, listing and  indexing books, technical reports and analytical reports. 

The Macao Civil Engineering Laboratory Library is open to the public and has a large number of professional bibliographies related to civil engineering, including more than 4,618 books, about 18 technical and scientific journals and a large number of international regulations and standards in civil engineering, such as: International Standards, Chinese Standards, Portuguese Standards, American Standards, British Standards, German Standards, American Association of Building Manufacturers Standards and American Water Association Standards. The laboratory regularly receives literature and information published by technology and research organizations incorporated in the world.
