Civil Engineering Laboratory of Macau (LECM) was invited by the scientific committee to attend the Scientific Week 2007. LECM also exhibited many kinds of technological instruments about the civil engineering domain in science, the aim was to introduce this laboratory how the construction project to integrate into the science, implemented the science to apply in the life. At the opening day of the ceremony, the chief executive, Mr. Edmond Ho, was interested in this laboratory's science and technology and the instruments very much, in particular to the non-destructive test like infrared thermal detector and so on, the president in the board of directors of LECM, Dr. Ao Peng Kong introduced the application method, the function and the characteristic of the partial instruments on the spot, Mr. Edmond Ho also personally tested them, and said to the guests and reporters: “Everybody is fine, no fever.” The sound of laughter was full of the hall, the scene was relaxed lively. In addition, the president, Dr. Ao Peng Kong, also accompanied the Secretary for Transport and Public Works, Eng. Lau Si Io, to visit the exhibition booth of LECM, let him understand the current working condition.
